Ode VII of the Easter Canon by St. John of Damascus (O paidas ek kaminou) was translated into English verse by John Mason Neale as "Who from the fiery furnace saved the Three," appearing on page 48 of his 1862 Hymns of the Eastern Church. A literal blank verse translation was also provided by Richard Frederick Littledale in his Offices from the Service Books of the Holy Eastern Church (1863, p. 217).
