"Almighty Father, Thou hast many a blessing" is an anonymous hymn of renunciation. It was first published in Samuel Longfellow and Samuel Johnson's Book of Hymns (1846, No. 217) and later included in their Hymns of the Spirit (1864, No. 365) in three four-line stanzas.
