"All that I was, my sin, my guilt" is a hymn written by Scottish clergyman Horatius Bonar on the theme of pardon through grace. Composed in five four-line stanzas, the text is based on 1 Corinthians 15:10, "By the grace of God I am what I am." It was first published in 1845 in The Bible Hymn Book (No. 219), which Bonar edited.
Bonar included the hymn in his 1857 collection Hymns of Faith and Hope (first series) under the title "Mine and Thine." The text saw broad adoption across British and American hymnals, generally retained without variation. In some collections, such as the Baptist Psalms and Hymns (1858, 1880) and The New Congregational Hymn Book (1859), the second line of the fourth stanza reads "Bade me in Christ believe." Doxologies appended in certain versions, such as R. H. Kennedy's 1863 collection, were not part of Bonar's original text.
