"Almighty Father of mankind" is a hymn on divine providence attributed to Michael Bruce, composed around 1764. It was first published in John Logan's Poems (1781, No. 3) in three four-line stanzas. While its usage in Great Britain remained modest, it achieved wider adoption across North American hymnals.
