"All-seeing God, Thy love sustains" is a hymn by William Josiah Irons, written as a metrical version of the Collect for the Eighth Sunday after Trinity. Composed in four seven-line stanzas, it was published in his Psalms and Hymns for the Church (1873, No. 167) under the heading "Perceiving God's Providence."
In 1882, Godfrey Thring included the hymn in his Collection (No. 248) with a minor alteration in the second stanza, changing "beneath the cherub's wings" to "beneath Thy sheltering Wings."
