"All wondering on the desert ground" is a hymn written by John Ernest Bode based on the Gospel passage for the Twenty-fifth Sunday after Trinity (St. John 6:5), which recounts the feeding of the five thousand. Composed in five four-line stanzas, it appeared in his 1860 volume Hymns from the Gospel of the Day.

The text became one of the most widely adopted pieces from Bode's collection, entering Roundell Palmer's Book of Praise (1862), Dean Henry Alford's Year of Praise (1867), and The New Zealand Hymnal (1872).
