"All hail, victorious Lord" is a metrical version of Psalm 110 written by English evangelical clergyman Basil Woodd. Composed in four six-line stanzas, the paraphrase appeared in Woodd's undated collection Psalms of David and other Portions of the Sacred Scriptures (published around 1810), which was revised and republished as A New Metrical Version of the Psalms in 1821.
In nineteenth-century collections such as the Islington Psalms and Hymns and The New Congregational Hymn Book (1859), the text is presented as an abridged selection comprising only stanzas one and three of the original poem. The full four-stanza form is absent from modern hymnals and remains available only in the author's original volumes.
