All hail the glorious morn

"All hail the glorious morn" is an eighteenth-century hymn written by John Peacock on the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. Composed in six eight-line stanzas, the text was first published in his volume Songs of Praise composed from the Holy Scriptures, in Two Parts (London, 1776, No. 37) under the heading "The Resurrection and Ascension of Christ."

In 1806, the hymn was included with slight textual alterations in John Dobell's Selection of Evangelical Hymns, through which it subsequently gained adoption in several nineteenth-century American collections.
