Hymns about Children

Hymns for children and hymns about children confess that the young belong within the household of faith. Scripture presents children as gifts of the Lord, objects of Christ's tenderness, and learners who are to be taught the ways of God diligently. Christian hymnody therefore refuses to treat childhood as a spiritual waiting room; it seeks age-fitting words that still speak truth about sin, grace, prayer, and love for the Savior.
