The Hymnal 1982
This is the standard hymnal used in worship by the Episcopal Church in the United States. It includes service music (for liturgical parts of the worship service such as responses, psalms, canticles) as well as a large collection of congregational hymns drawn from historic Anglican, Protestant, and global Christian traditions. The hymnal reflects a breadth of musical styles and includes settings of traditional texts and tunes alongside works representing different cultural traditions within the life of the church.
